As such, we are looking for an experienced, organised and process-oriented Talent Partner to support our continued growth. This role would be well-suited to an individual who enjoys creating great structures that others love to follow, yielding consistent and predictable results. Startups are defined by the people they hire - and this is a fantastic opportunity to shape the next phase of growth at Trouva.
As the selected Talent Partner you will provide efficient hiring support across the entire organisation, from technology through to senior level specialist hires such as commercial and marketing. You have a strong first principle approach to defining role descriptions and assessing individuals.
Help us define who we need - you will work with the Trouva leadership to define the hiring plan and translate requirements into compelling job descriptions
Find great hires - you use a diverse range of talent acquisition channels (this includes, but is not limited to, network, recruiters, outreach, internal referrals, events, job boards and engaging content).
Run a great process - you are proactive, structured and organised, always ensuring candidates and stakeholders receive clear communications, calendar instructions and agendas in a timely fashion. You ensure weekly catch-ups happen and solicit input as regards priorities from Trouva’s various hiring managers. This allows you to exercise sound judgement in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as postponing meetings in case of delays - always ensuring candidate experience is top!
Build a great experience - you will continue to improve our candidate experience, both to ensure we can hire the best candidates as well as ensure that those who we don’t offer a role to will still recommend Trouva as a great potential employer
Ultimate timekeeper - you are able to lead the charge as to what needs to happen by when - nothing critical misses a deadline on your watch.
Act like an owner - you are responsive and proactive during the times that matter - this may mean unconventional working patterns, but you thrive in this kind of setting
Output over prestige - you identify and action items regardless of area of commitment - so, whether that is scheduling, attending external round table discussions or processing contractual comments, you have it covered!
You have a strong sense of urgency and focus on on the right outcomes every hour of the day. We believe that the following skills (or equivalent experience) could serve you well in this role -
Passion and experience - you love, and are great at, finding and hiring amazing people for startups (or have demonstrated similar qualities in another role)
Strong organisation skills - this skill could have been gained through experience as a professional Talent Partner and / or through a central operations role - what is more important though, is your ability to demonstrate this skill clearly.
Detail-oriented - you have gained a robust appreciation for attention to detail and nuance - especially in regards to liaising with and coordinating diverse sets of stakeholders.
Other - (i) experience dealing with confidential and business critical issues, (ii) willingness to respond to ad-hoc requests and projects and (iii) strong credentials (iiii) excited by new technologies.
